NATIONAL ARBORETUM CANBERRA
This project focused on rebranding the National Arboretum Canberra using a dynamic identity system generated through code. The concept centres on four leaf shapes that randomly appear and overlap on the background, visually echoing the diversity and organic growth found in the Arboretum itself.
Using SVG libraries, we explored a generative design approach that allowed for continuous variation within a consistent visual system. The dynamic logo adapts to different media while maintaining a strong brand presence.
Final outcomes included a static version of the dynamic identity for digital use (e.g. websites), as well as print collateral such as tote bags, calendars, business cards, and stamps—extending the identity into both digital and physical touchpoints.
